Rainy weather will prevail over the western section of Luzon this weekend and in the coming week.
PAGASA weather forecaster Benison Estarejas says, this is due to the southwest monsoon.
As a result, thunderstorm alert is currently up over Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales and Cavite.
Thunderstorms may also occur in Batangas, Rizal, Bulacan and Tarlac.
Meanwhile, typhoon ‘Dindo’ is set to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday afternoon.

‘Dindo’ is currently at 985 kilometers east of Itbayat, Batanes.
The typhoon carries maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of 195 kph.
‘Dindo’ is slowly moving northeast at 7 kph.
