Malfunction hits LRT-1 operations

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 operations from Central Station (Arroceros in Ermita, Manila) up to Roosevelt Avenue in Quezon City temporarily stopped at noon on Wednesday.

Authorities cite a ‘spark’ coming from the power supply as the cause of the glitch.

Train travel is currently limited from Baclaran (near Taft Avenue in Pasay City) to Central Station and vice versa.

Passengers are being advised to expect delays.
