The Supreme Court will conduct a nationwide consultations for its proposed revision of rules on civil procedure.
The high court on Wednesday said that three dialogues would be conducted with the public and stakeholders.
The first will be held on May 28 at the Marco Polo Hotel in Cebu City, the second, May 31 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City and the third, June 3 at the Ateneo Law School in Makati City.
Not everyone though would be allowed to participate as there will be limited slots in the three venues, the court said.
The public and stakeholders may get copies of the first draft by visiting the high court’s website, www.sc.judiciary.gov.ph, or directly request for a portable document format copy by emailing [email protected]
The SC ordered the revision of the rules on civil procedure last year to ensure that parties in every case are placed on equal footing, to reduce cost of litigation and to distribute cases through proper use of courts’ time and resources.
