Publicly-listed Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Co. forged a strategic partnership with US-based Virtalus to deliver public and private cloud solutions for the Philippine market.
The two companies through the partnership are now in a position to offer public and private cloud solutions to PT&T’s enterprise clients in the Philippines, powered by Virtalus.
The partnership on PT&T’s Cloud Powered by Virtalus was signed by PT&T’s IT Services business unit headed by Ella Mae Ortega and James Velasquez, president and chief executive officer of PT&T, and Virtalus CEO Virtalus Mazhar Durani and Virtalus business development consultant for Southeast Asia Hanna Mortel.
“Our partnership with Virtalus enables PT&T to launch value for money cloud services to empower more businesses,” said PT&T president and chief executive James Velasquez.
“By partnering with an established global IT service provider, this is yet another milestone for PT&T in innovating our services for our customers. We can expect more key initiatives such as this as we venture further in the IT space,” he added.
