Imus, Cavite–The growth of obstacle course racing in the last two years has compelled supporters and sponsors of the sport to put up a fitness center.

And this is what Sante Fitness Lab offers to both beginners and elite athletes, who are into the sport.

“Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, we would like to help you better and meet your goals,” said Lekk Llanos, marketing officer of Sante Fitness Lab during its launch last Friday.

Llanos addressed a group of athletes who have taken interest in the sport and introduced them to facilities that are now available inside the Vermosa Sports Hub.

Sante Fitness Lab offers holistic training programs, aside from recovery and rehabilitation facilities for athletes.

During its launch, a contest was held among enthusiasts who are with clubs like Sante Barley OCR, SGS Kalabaw, South Strong and Decathlong Dasmarinas.

Sante coach JJ Ogacion took note of the growth of the sport following a big turnout during its launch.

“Nakakagulat. I came from a running and triathlon background, the growth of the sport was fast in the last two years,” said Ogacion.

The new facility is the latest to be added inside the Vermosa Sports Hubs, which has expanded to include sports developments from other disciplines as well.

Aside from athletics two years ago, they have added swimming, triathlon and mixed martial arts classes, as well.

The hub also features a recovery and sports rehab center, which caters to sports injuries.

It also has a performance testing center, geared towards measuring and analyzing specific factors to accurately determine the right program for individuals.
