Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. formally opened the latest addition to its growing commercial vehicle dealership network in the Philippines, right in the booming first class municipality of Baliwag, Bulacan.

Hyundai Trucks & Buses-Baliwag, operated by the LausAutoGroup, is the seventh inaugurated CV dealership since HARI’s appointment as official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles in the Philippines in 2016.

The LausAutoGroup has been a key partner in the past 15 years as Hyundai bolstered its presence in key areas of Central and Northern Luzon. These regions are now hotbeds of major economic and transportation developments, such as the New Clark City, Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 7 (MRT-7), and the soon-to-rise New Manila International Airport.

Pusong Baliwag. Tatak Hyundai.  At the inauguration of Hyundai’s newest commercial vehicle dealership were from left Hyundai Trucks & Buses-Baliwag Dealer Principal Lisette Laus-Velasco; Baliwag Mayor Ferdinand V. Estrella; HARI President & CEO Ma. Fe Perez- Agudo; and HARI COO & CFO Ladislao Z. Avila, Jr.

In his speech, Baliwag Mayor Ferdinand V. Estrella, thanked Hyundai and HTB-Baliwag for setting up shop in his beloved town. “Lubos kong ikinagagalak na napakaraming kumpanya ang nagtitiwala sa aming bayan upang dito po maglagay ng kanilang negosyo. Hopefully, Baliwag would be the fourth city to rise in Bulacan. At naniniwala po ako na ang ganitong klase ng negosyo ay napakalaking tulong po sa aming bayan.”

In response, HARI President & CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said, “The time has come for the future of mobility. We are at the right place and the right time. Hyundai opens a new chapter of driving success in this progressive municipality. A first-class town deserves nothing less than first-class vehicles and services from a first-class commercial vehicle dealership.”

On the same note, HTB-Baliwag Dealer Principal Lisette Laus-Velasco called to mind her father and LausAutoGroup founder, the late Levy Laus’ passion for countryside development. “He committed to create a Metro Central Luzon by sharing resources and opportunities to the region’s seven provinces, including Bulacan, which is part of the growth corridor of this region…. Definitely, with Hyundai Trucks and Buses, we can provide the necessary logistical and business support foreseen for Bulacan as it continues to rise as an investment hub and another beacon of the future.”

HTB-Baliwag offers a variety of world-class, durable, and fuel-efficient models like the County commuter minibus, Hyundai’s Modern Jeepney Class 2, and the Hyundai HD truck series (HD 65/72/78) that are built with rigidly constructed high-tensile strength steel frame perfectly matched with modern Euro-4 powertrains that allow optimum performance. In addition, Hyundai commercial vehicles are backed by a 3-Year, 200,000-kilometer Mileage Warranty (whichever comes first).

First-class vehicle dealership in a first-class municipality. Hyundai Trucks & Buses-Baliwag is now ready to link and elevate business mobility within Baliwag and from Baliwag to the rest of Northern Luzon.

Adhering to Hyundai’s Global Dealership Space Identity (HGDSI) standards, Hyundai Trucks & Buses-Baliwag is also part of the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI) and is “grEEEn” (Geared for Resiliency and Energy Efficiency for the Environment) certified.

The dealership’s dedicated and customer-focused Sales and After-Sales professionals are ready to bring expert mobility solutions to entrepreneurs.

HTB-Baliwag also provides Call for Service Inspection (CSI), a network-wide aftersales program that makes it easier to maintain a fleet of Hyundai commercial vehicles. Through this proactive service, customers can call for a Hyundai Service Team to come and assess the condition of their Hyundai Truck and/or Bus vehicle or fleet of vehicles at no added cost.

“While other automotive companies are taking a wait-and-see attitude, Hyundai continues to expand its dealership network anchored by the strong relationships with its dealer partners. With the addition of Hyundai Trucks and Buses-Baliwag to the growing CV dealership family, Hyundai is well on its way to achieve its vision of being a ‘partner in every way,’” Ms. Agudo affirms.

Despite strong headwinds, HARI remains strongly optimistic of its growing CV business. In the first seven months of 2019, the company’s CV sales have grown by a 140%, driven by increased economic activity from MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) and the government’s “Build Build Build” programs.
