MORE Electric and Power Corp. has signed an interim power agreement with Kepco SPC Power Corp. to purchase five megawatts, with an option for another 5 MW of supply to Iloilo City.

“We are happy to be in partnership with KEPCO SPC as we commit to bring more to the lives of the Ilonggos by delivering cheaper power,” said MORE Power president and chief operating officer Roel Castro in a statement.

The agreement, signed at the KSPC Plant Office in Naga City, Cebu on May 15,

will be effective for one year. KSPC agreed to supply reliable power to Iloilo City at a much lower rate than the current supplier of the city.
