For the queen of the house who loves Spanish cuisine, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Eastwood Café+Bar throws a Spanish fiesta, dubbed Mom is Love (Mamá es Amor) Mother’s Day Buffet, on May 12.

Richmonde’s team of skilled chefs will take mom and the whole family on a culinary journey to the rich and exciting tastes of Spain with savory bites from the selection of aperitivo that includes Fried Herring and assorted tapas, and the assortment of main dishes like Organic Iberian Chicken and Lengua Sevillana.

The spread will also feature a la minute cooking of Camaron, and two paella variants: Paella Negra and Paella Filipino made of sisig and pork belly. Not to be missed is the dessert section with sugary delights like Canonigo and Brazo de Gitano.

A glass of guyabano citrus juice and coffee or green tea are also included in the meal.

Moms dining with four paying guests gets to eat for free. The buffet, available for lunch and dinner, is priced at P1,250 nett per person.

A mom loves to feed her family, but on Mother’s Day satisfy her food cravings. Diamond Hotel’s in-house restaurants have a variety of lavish surprises for the special lady of the house.

Corniche restaurant serves a banquet of dishes from around the world for lunch and dinner for P2,880 nett per person from May 10 to 12. Yurakuen, on the other hand, offers set menus for groups of four for P9,600 nett or groups of six for P13,600 nett. The Japanese lunch comes with one round of standard beverage of choice.

The Mother’s Day three-course set menu at Lobby Lounge comes with a glass of white wine for P1,680 nett. And moms who want to have drinks with friends can head over to Bar 27 for a night of drinks, dancing, and delicious pica-pica.

Begin the celebration with the seared halibut fillet wrapped in a chive crepe with baby potatoes and shallot confit, served with a tartar sauce infused with Genmaicha.

Follow it up with a delectable squid and scampi pasta served with shimeji mushrooms, garlic, and parsley infused with Tokyo-Singapore Tea. Accentuating the sweetness of the seafood, pair this dish with a warm cup of Geisha Blossom Tea, a vivacious blend of green tea and refreshing, ripe southern fruits; or the French Earl Grey Tea, a fragrant black tea delicately infused with citrus fruits and French blue cornflowers.

Complete the unforgettable meal with an alluring heart-shaped gateau of honeycomb layered with strawberries and banana, coated with Silver Moon Tea infused white chocolate topped with dried roses.

The three-course set menu with tea is priced at P1,250, and is available today until May 26.
