The Braves scored three straight triples courtesy of Jeff Tajonera, Justice Laureno and Jonathan Rivera for a crippling 9-1 run at the start of the extra period to frustrate the Sausage Kings and clinch their fourth straight win in the South division.
The nine-point explosion in a two-minute span put the Braves ahead for good, 97-89, thereby silencing the pro-Sausage Kings crowd.
Manila threatened for the last time at 96-101 on a driving layup by Wowie Rescosio with still two minutes left, but Chester Ian Melencio of General Trias responded with four straights points to make it 105-95.
Rivera finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, Melencio added 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists and Laureno had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Braves.
Manila dropped to 3-1.
Earlier, the Binangonan Slashers bested Rizal Leadlink, 87-83, for their third win in five matches.
Ivan Cuyong came off the bench to lead the Slashers with 25 points and seven rebounds.
Ernest Oduca added 16 points and Miguel Agulto contributed a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Edzel Mag-isa paced Leadlink with 20 points and 19 rebounds, followed by Larry Rivera with 16.
