General Trias outlasted Manila, 106-100, in overtime in a battle between unbeaten teams  in the 2019 Community Basketball Association-Pilipinas Founders Cup at the San Andres Sports Complex in Malate.

The Braves scored three straight triples courtesy of Jeff Tajonera, Justice Laureno and Jonathan Rivera for a crippling 9-1 run at the start of the extra period to frustrate the Sausage Kings and clinch their fourth straight win in the South division.

The nine-point explosion in a two-minute span put the Braves ahead for good,  97-89, thereby silencing the pro-Sausage Kings crowd.

Manila threatened for the last time at 96-101 on a driving layup by Wowie Rescosio with still two minutes left,  but Chester Ian Melencio  of General Trias responded with four straights points  to make it 105-95.
