Small domestic appliances (SDA) manufacturer Tefal’s unique spherical pot rice cookers have arrived in the Philippines, and are set to revolutionize the way Filipinos cook their staple food.

Round in shape, unlike the usual rice cooker, the Tefal optimal and initial spherical pot rice cookers take inspiration from the palayok, or the traditional Filipino clay pot.

Both variants use the exclusive Tefal’s spherical pot technology, with a 62-degree angle that gives off circular heat convection.

 The Tefal rice cooker optimizes cooking functions with its 35 built-in cooking programs that can cook a variety of ingredients beyond rice including clay pot, porridge, congee, steam, slow cook, soup, or even dessert.
