The new eight-track collection consists of different love songs—music on falling in love, love of country, and love of a mother and child. Five of these tracks are in English, with music and lyrics by Miguela herself.

Three tracks are written in Tagalog—“Subalit Bakit” and “Wika Ko” both written by Himig Handog PPop Love Song 2014 grand winner Edwin Marollano; and “Ma Intindi” written by Edwin and Miguela.

The young artist—who dabbles into painting, playing the guitar and keyboard—founded Migmarks and Arts, a fundraising platform to support several charities such as Lingkod-ER Foundation, ABS-CBN DZMM TLC ( Teaching, Learning Caring) Public Service on Wheels, and Pag-asa ng Pamilya Scholarship Foundation.

The net proceeds of the Miguela album sale will go to Bantay Bata 163, the children’s welfare program of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.

The singer-songwriter has been composing her own music since the age of 14. She enjoys creating her own renditions of songs she covers, putting an acoustic twist to upbeat songs.

Go download Miguela’s album on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon Music. The album is also accessible via a QR code.
