But Alive! Restaurant aims to change that. Located a 90-minute drive from the metro, The Farm at San Benito’s vegan restaurant is one of Asia’s first and best restaurants offering vegan cuisine that proudly serves delectable raw food.

Alive! serves dishes made of nutritious and all-natural ingredients hand-picked from The Farm’s own organic gardens. The preparation and cooking methods used retain the optimum amount of enzymes and nutrients needed by the body. For instance, fresh fruits and vegetables are prepared raw or blanched.

Dehydration and fermentation are two manners by which Alive! preserves the plant’s life force. The former prevents the growth of microorganisms that will spoil the food. This gives the vegetables a longer shelf life without the addition of toxic chemicals and preservatives. The latter, on the other hand, serves as a good source of beneficial bacteria, to make the gut healthy, and it provides the enzymes to convert nutrients to vitamin B complexes.

Alive!’s menu choices feature vegetables, fruit, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts, and seeds. Early this month, it has launched new items in the menu, including salad in jars, fermented vegetables, local vegetable salad, a variety of soups, a Mediterranean section, and new conceptualized raw and cooked mains. 

Alive! of The Farm at San Benito shares its three-pronged approach to healing and wellness—the soundness of mind, body, and spirit. According to it, good food fuels the mind, body, and spirit to combat the daily aggressors.

The Farm at San Benito currently offers Day at The Farm package for P5,000 nett per person inclusive of a three-course vegan gourmet lunch at Alive! Restaurant, a choice of Live Blood Analysis and Health Consult, 60-minute Relaxation Massage, or a 60-minute Acqua Lymphatic Therapy. Offer is until Sept. 30 only.
