This is the first time Pacquiao is fighting again since his controversial loss to Jeff Horn on July 2017. That setback is expected to fuel Pacquiao when he faces Matthysse, the reigning World Boxing Association world welterweight champion.

Considered the “People’s Champ,” Pacquiao has delivered a number of classics in his storied boxing career.
