On and off-screen, Kris Aquino always caps her flawless look with perfectly shaped eyebrows. And just like any other women out there, she subscribes to “kilay is life” mantra.
At the launch of “Kris Life Kit,” her latest collaboration with Ever Bilena, Kris explained that while eyebrow pencils can create well-defined arches, the colored strokes can easily fade.
“Yes kilay is life, I have that feeling [like] my face and life is incomplete. Even if I have done brow rejuvenation may kailangan ka pa rin idagdag, and I think all of the Filipinas feel that way. You can leave the house with just powder, but you can’t leave without kilay,” she said in an interview.
Aquino elaborated that eyebrow pencils can indeed create refined arched brows but colored strokes can easily fade.
.“You have to set it with brow mascara so it will last a long time,” she said as she proudly presents the Brow Liner and Mascara; a dual-ended makeup stick which has a retractable unique “tear drop” shaped liner and a mascara on the other, that comes in shades Happy Taupe and Beyond Brown.
Aquino is also ecstatic to show her matte lipstick line that answers dry lip problems and chapped lips. Kris Matte Matic Lipstick’ distinct feature is that it produces a moisturizing balmy texture which lasts the entire day that comes in five shades: rosy pink (Life) and bright red (Love) – Laugh, Lucky, and Loyal are soon to be released.
She promised that more products would add up to her makeup line because she sees a “long-term relationship” with the company.
“We have already established a relationship in just close to six months. I know gaano kalaki ang in-invest nila. It’s not a joke. For a company to believe in me and invest millions in a vision I had, matters a lot. I am only an endorser but I am also a stakeholder in this. It is really a long-term relationship,” she added.
