Pet parents and their furry friends had a lot fun, fitness, and action at the Pet Express Doggie Run 2018 held recently at the SM Mall of Asia.
Now in its eighth year, the annual event is considered Manila’s biggest dog-run. More than a fun activity for pooches, the event is staged for the benefit of the Philippine Animal Welfare Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of humane treatment of all animals.
Runners had an early dog-friendly warm up exercises with Energetix Health and Wellness, and enjoyed exciting games and freebie sponsored by Gardenia and Sosro Fruit Tea. Mober also raffled off Free Pet Shuttling Services to lucky winners after the run.
Participants competed in the 5K, 3K, and 1.5K categories, with Krisenyano Yaban, Jojie Daga-as, and Stanley Tolentino, winning first place in these respective runs. They brought home a supply of goodies from Good Boy, Nature’s Protection, Holistic Recipe, SmartHeart, Pedigree, and Royal Canin, as well as health and grooming aids from Saint Roche, Playpet, Fur Magic, Dextrolyte, Bayopet, and Canidae.
Pet Express has stores at SM Cubao, SM Mall of Asia, SM Hypermarket Store in Makati, SM City Masinag, SM City North Edsa, SM Megamall, and SM City Fairview, and branches in SM City Dasmariñas in Luzon and SM City Cagayan de Oro Downtown in VizMin.
