Nokia announces 4 new phones

THE biggest mobile phone brand in during the 90s up to the new millennium is back again, bringing four new phones to be released to the Philippine market this summer season.

And so expect a reliable and affordable new line of phones from Nokia, the first to set the benchmark for quality, durability and budget-friendly phones to Filipinos.

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, confirmed to the press the availability of the latest Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1, New Nokia 6 and the return of Nokia 8110, with 4G capabilities for the Philippine market.

Introduced first at the Mobile World Congress in February earlier this year, these new Nokia phones will be ready for sale in mid-April and May.

Nokia 7 Plus will be the flagship phone of the tech giant in the country, boasting of an amazing combination of screen, power, design and features, making it the star of the Nokia smartphone range. Another innovation of Nokia 7 Plus is the #Bothie that simultaneously captures moments from the front and rear camera at the same time.

The Nokia 7 Plus will be available in Black/Copper and White/Copper starting April 27 and will retail for P21,990.

Another breakthrough for Nokia is its Nokia 1 smartphone. Created for the masses, the Nokia 1 boasts of a nostalgic design that fans around the world are familiar with. 

Another addition is the Xpress-on covers that can give the Nokia 1 a quick makeover with range of vibrant colors.

Nokia 1 is already available in retail for P4,290.

Shannon Mead, Country manager of HMD Global, led the primer for Nokia’s NewSeum media launch at the Green Sun Hotel.

“HMD Global is committed to continue the story of Nokia mobile, through the qualities that we first loved such as durability and innovation, designed to suit every need and style,” said Mead.

Mead also claimed that the much-anticipated evolution of the successful Nokia 6 and the transformation of the classic Nokia 8110 4G will be coming to the Philippines in May.
