MAYOR Dino Reyes Chua of Noveleta town in Cavite was adjudged as one of 22 Most Outstanding Mayors for 2018 by Superbrands International during the awarding rites held at City Club Makati.
Harry Tambuatco, President and CEO, and Karl Mclean, Chair of Superbrand Marketing International, handed over the prestigious plaque and coffee table book to the town chief executive.
Superbrand recognized the “eccentric projects” Chua has done to the locality in his one year in office as chief of the smallest town in the province.
Superbrand noted the “Doc to Door” clinic on wheels, the E-Trike garbage collection “Oplan Tokbang Katok Basura,” the town’s regular monthly job fair, freebies for Noveleta senior citizens, and the revival of its Long Beach Tourism projects.
The 35-year-old Stanford University-trained Chua is also the president of the boutique airline Skyjet and owns hotels in Cavite, Makati, Boracay and Coron, Palawan.
Other mayoral awardees were Herbert Bautista of Quezon City, Oscar Malapitan of Caloocan City, Bernard Faustino Dy of Cauayan City, Isabela Province, Chevylle Farinas of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Maynard Sabili of Lipa City, Batangas, and Lani Mercado-Revilla of Bacoor City, Cavite.
