This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

Meet PEPPER, a one-year old Shih Tzu-Chihuahua mix.
“He may be small but he really puts up a fight when necessary. He is really obedient and happy-go-lucky. He will always approach you with a smile and give you a paw,” says owner Denise Concepcion.
PAWEE or Lester "Pawee" McCoyie Coy is a male Maltese born on May 10, 2015.
Franchesca 'Cheesy' Adao-Sarmiento and her husband adopted him in June, 2015.
“He has brought love and laughter to our entire family. He has been therapeutic to his Wowo and Wowa who are both senior citizens, especially to his Wowo who is diabetic and a stroke patient,” says Franchesca.
Franchesca adds, "Pawee is the sweetest furbaby! We can never imagine our life without our Pawee. He is our constant joy and happiness. He is our alarm clock every morning, he loves to cuddle, and he loves giving out kisses to everyone in the family. He is the reason we are always excited to go home early from school/work."
