Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber—collectively known as MayWard—lead the kiligfest in Cinema One’s premiere of Loving in Tandem today.
Directed by Giselle Andres and produced by Star Cinema, the film is the first big screen project topbilled by rising stars Maymay and Edward. It also stars MayWard’s fellow Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 housemates Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo.
The romantic comedy follows the story of bright and determined Shine (Maymay), willing to do anything for her family. She meets the balikbayan Luke (Edward) in the most unusual circumstance. With a bit of a language barrier getting in the way, the two accidentally put themselves in an awkward situation when Luke announces in their entire barangay that Shine is his “jowa.”
Will the language of their hearts triumph over whatever differences Shine and Luke have? How will they change each other’s lives?
