Weather bureau PAGASA is expecting tropical depression Urduja to intensify.
Forecasters say, it may develop into a storm 36 hours from now or at around midnight tomorrow.
As of 11 am today, PAGASA spotted Urduja's location at 405 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
The agency says, the weather disturbance has maintained its strength as in continues to move in a north northwest direction.
Urduja is packing maximum sustained winds of up to 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph.
It is moving at a speed of 7 kph.
Urduja is bringing moderate to heavy rains in Visayas, Bicol and CARAGA regions.
36 hours from now, when Urduja will most likely intensify, it is predicted to be over Borongan City.
At this time, PAGASA has not raised any tropical storm warning signal.
