Pia Wurtzbach, Millennials, and Huawei Nova 2i a match made in heaven

We had a chat with the confidently beautiful millennial queen herself, Pia Wurtzbach, who happily chimed her thoughts on how millennials are conscious tech consumers, and how the Huawei Nova 2i captures fantastic value in an affordable package.

“Millennials are very smart,” she says of today’s tech-savvy generation. “A lot of millennials right now don’t buy phones because it’s uso. They’re making sure they pay for a quality device and right now it’s all about finding good reviews, finding out if this is really something worth my money because they’re smart now.”

Taking the Huawei Nova 2i as a prime example, Pia enthuses about the phone’s jam-packed feature set, saying, “It ticks all the boxes, really. First of all, it’s affordable. Second, the features aren’t compromised because of the price.” Marveling at the 5.9-inch FullView HD Display, Pia exclaims “The screen is even bigger than the P10 Plus, it is light and I really like it.”

When told that the phone’s price is only P14,990, Pia was even more amazed! “This is good, I wouldn’t have guessed that this is priced at P15k!”

Pia admits that she doesn’t really subscribe to fads, or just going with whatever is considered bandwagon trends nowadays. She puts a lot of thought into her purchases, especially gadgets, by comparing specifications and looking up user comments and reviews. “I definitely check the specs of the gadgets I purchase. I don’t buy something because everyone’s buying it,” Pia says of blind, fad-driven expenses. Furthermore, she says, “Right now, word of mouth is really important. Besides reading reviews online, you have to ask around.”

Pia pays considerable attention to screen quality, since she agrees “Everybody views everything through screens now.” She lists down a number of activities like playing games, watching videos, browsing, reading articles, looking at pictures on Instagram, and taking pictures that, in her own words, affirms “A bigger screen is always better.”

“That’s also a big part of being a millennial. Everybody has a social media account. Nobody’s left behind, nobody’s disconnected,” Pia says of the time and effort millennials have invested in social media. She recognizes that staying up-to-date on the latest and greatest relies on having a good phone, going so far as to say “Everybody treats their phone like a part of their body.”

“It’s perfect since we all like to keep everyone updated of ourselves through social media, we use the cameras a lot.” Pia refers to the Huawei Nov a2i’s four-camera system – a first on any Huawei device, which takes studio-quality photos from the front and back. The rear-facing 16MP/2MP camera combo on the back makes for excellent, high-resolution group shots while the front-facing 13MP/2MP cameras ensure flawless bokeh on selfie potraits.

Pia Wurtzbach clearly loves the incredible features of the Huawei Nova 2i, with its two biggest features – the FullView HD Display and four-camera system – being particularly appropriate for the visual-centric lifestyle of millennials. With a ringing recommendation from Queen P herself, tech-savvy and value-conscious millennials can’t go wrong with the Huawei Nova 2i.
