The delectable ensaymada is the pastry of choice for coffee breaks and merienda time for many Filipinos.

Andrew Café, named after the late Brother Andrew Gonzales, a gourmand who was formerly a Secretary of the Department of Education, serves delightful ensaymadas in five variants: salted egg, quezo de bola, ube, monggo, and dulce de leche, all filled with luscious bits and pieces of the same flavor.

The pastry comes in two sizes, 16 mini pieces, and 9 classic ones per box.

All these are whipped up by resident pastry chef Timothy Robert Gonzales.

Andrew Café is at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Taft Campus corner Estrada and Leon Guinto streets, Malate, Manila.
