IMUS, Cavite—The Cavite Police Provincial Office, led by Police Senior Supt. William Segun, in partnership with the Cavite Highway Patrol Team launched the “Unified Motorcycle Riders Group” on Monday at the CPPO Grandstand at Camp General Pantaleon Garcia here.
Segun, the acting provincial director, reiterated the objective of the project, which is to improve police intervention techniques and strategies by mobilizing motorcycle rider groups and organizations within the province “to establish a strong and sustainable partnership in crime prevention and solution.”
The group aims to reinforce the existing operational strategies currently in force in the province, which may help reduce murders perpetrated by motorcycle riding-in-tandem criminals and “motor-napping” by identifying motorcycle owners with legal and official documents.
