ROBINSONS Bank (Rbank) has recently announced that it will be finishing up its migration from regular ATM cards to EMV chip-enabled cards by the end of this year.

All Rbank ATM cards will be deactivated by Nov. 6, 2017 and thus they encourage their clients to visit their branch of accounts to upgrade their cards to the new Robinsons Bank Visa Debit Card as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience after the deactivation date. The bank also announced that upgrading to the new EMV chip-enabled card will be free during this period.

The Robinsons Bank Visa Debit Card is one of the bank’s newest products aimed at making life and banking more convenient and safe for its customers. This allows Robinsons Bank clients to shop online or through Point-of-Sale terminals securely anywhere in the world where Visa is accepted. They will also be able to access their funds 24/7 worldwide and enjoy the very best in the world of entertainment, travel, leisure and more.

Robinsons Bank is part of the JG Summit Holdings, Inc., one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines owning and operating brands such as Cebu Pacific, Robinsons Land, Universal Robina Corporation, Robinsons Malls and more.
