“As of now, her live rating is 2300 after the five tournaments here in Europe, and before her European Campaign she had a rating of  2235. We do hope that the last event in Italy, will give her  plus rating,” said coach Jayson Gonzales.

Frayna plans to reach an ELO rating of 2400 before the end of the year.

Gonzales added that  this should be her goal as well as getting an official International Master title.

So far, she has already earned  her three International Master Norms.

“This will become history. The first Filipina to do so,” Gonzales said.

Gonzales  believes that Frayna is on the right track and more so within the time table of her goals.

“From here on, two to three years from now, the possibility for her to become a challenger in women’s world championship is attainable and possible,” said Gonzales.
