CAGAYAN DE ORO standout Inand Fornillos is making heads turn lately.

His steady game in the third quarter led the La Salle Greenhills Greenies to a 76-55 smashing of the Jose Rizal University Light Bombers.

The 18-year-old Fornillos, who transferred from University of Santo Tomas,  banged in 11 of 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds. His efforts contributed to the Greenies’ sixth triumph in eight games at the Arena in San Juan.

This helped in the Greenies’ bid to get back on the winning track in the 93rd National Collegiate Athletic Association junior basketball tournament.

After suffering two consecutive losses, the Greenies moved up the standings to gain a share of second spot with the San Beda Red Cubs.

The Greenies had earlier absorbed stinging losses in the hands of the defending champion Mapua Red Robins and the San Sebastian Staglets.
