Heads up, beauty aficionados! Makeup brand J.Cat Beauty had a grand launch at Gateway Mall recently.
People flocked to the store and witnessed makeup maven Arci Muñoz giving a lucky audience member an “everyday look” makeover using her favorite J.Cat products—proving that the brand’s quality, affordable products go beyond the bold, colorful, and youthful colors for which they are known and loved.
According to Arci, if she weren’t an artista, she’d probably be a makeup artist.
In between dabbing foundation on her muse’s face and underscoring the importance of well-groomed eyebrows (“Kilay is life,” as Arci quipped) during the live makeup session at the event, she dished out some makeup wisdom like a guru for all the eager audience members.

On applying foundation
Don’t use too much foundation if not necessary. Minimal coverage is best for a natural look. When applying foundation, use upward strokes. She says it’s like pulling your skin down if you go the opposite way, and will take its toll on your skin after some time.
On getting your eyebrow game on
Arci recommends outlining the eyebrows with your eyebrow pencil or powder, and then just lightly blending with a brush at the ends, near the bridge of the nose. She says choose a shade close to your hair shade for a natural look, but she personally goes for dark brows even if she has light colored hair.
Kiss the night away with great quality lipstick
Using kiss-proof makeup allows you to eat, drink, and be merry the whole day through. Arci expressed how much she loves J.Cat’s Kiss Proof Lip Color, which won’t budge for a good eight hours.
