What’s your career success story?

Jennifer Padua graduated with a degree in Political Science. But her path did not bring her to a career expected of what she finished at school.

Jennifer Padua got her job with the help of a job portal.

With the help of a job portal, Padua is now a digital marketing manager. “As cliché as it sounds, you just have to try and try sending your resumé to potential employers. You’ll never know what new opportunities are out there unless you try,” she shares.

Meanwhile, Junel De Guzman Aceres once found himself turned away by some companies to which he applied after his first internship. But he soldiered on, making extensive use of the same job portal to find more opportunities.

Ultimately, he ended up working full-time for the company where he interned.

“For all the jobseekers out there, I urge them to hold on to their dreams. Nothing in life comes easy, so do not give up even if you feel you’ve been rejected too many times,” says Aceres.

Padua and Aceres are just two of the many young professionals who took advantage of the job portal, JobStreet.com Philippines to find their dream job—or at least the career in which they excel and thrive.

To celebrate these happy and feel-good stories of finding one’s place, JobStreet.com Philippines has launched the My JobStreet Stories testimonial campaign.

The campaign aims to inspire more Filipinos to share their career success stories. Stories of individuals who have found their dream job through JobStreet and those who were able to expand their horizons and go to something entirely different from what they’re expecting are welcome.

The best stories will be featured on JobStreet’s official Facebook page.
