Cathay Pacific passengers have a new place where they can relax before their flight, as the airline opened its newest luxury lounge, The Deck, at Hong Kong International Airport.

Emulating understated luxury, the lounge’s environment adopts the feel of a contemporary living room with designer furniture, carefully curated lighting, plenty of greenery, and art by local artists. It also has a relaxation room zone, complete with bespoke Solo chairs, eight shower suites, and upscale washroom facilities, to help set travelers at ease

The Deck features dining options to satisfy hungry flyers. The Main Lounge offers freshly made international chows; The Noodle Bar—a favorite among Cathay Pacific flyers—serves Asian delights such as dan dan noodles and Japanese-style vegetarian noodles; and The Terrace, an open-ceiling verandah that serves a variety of grub and drinks with a panoramic view of the airport’s apron, taxiways, and northern runway.

“The Deck builds on the formula that has made our other new lounges around the world so popular with our customers,” Cathay Pacific chief customer and commercial officer Paul Loo said in a statement.

The Deck joins Cathay Pacific’s other lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, including The Bridge, The Pier Business and First-Class lounges, The Wing Business and First-Class lounges, and The Arrival.
