Two Italian luxury leather brands launch new bags made for elegant women.
Tod’s relaunches its celebrity-favorite D-Bag, first introduced in 1997, with a few updates and a new name.
Now called the D Styling, the bag features the same refined, understated luxury, timeless design, and superior craftsmanship for which it has been known.
The new D Styling Bag is a tribute and celebration of Tod’s iconic bag, which was a classic reflection of the quality and design of the brand’s shoes.
Softer, with no lining, a hand cut finish, and with a contemporary silhouette, this bag is ideal for its practicality and beauty. The excellent hides with which every Tod’s piece is made is a guarantee that it will endure in time not just for its beauty, but for the exceptional quality that is in the label’s DNA.
A special edition, the Luxury D Bag, is enriched with platinum-plated hardware.
The D Styling Bag, as with other bags of the label, is made using the production techniques similar to those used by ancient saddle makers. Extreme skill and attention to detail is required for the cutting of the leather and the sewing of each style. Each bag has a distinctive small steel nib at its bottom for protection; these nibs are a characteristic detail of many Tod’s products.
For its pre-fall 2019 collection, Furla introduces Diva, which comes in different versions: It bag (shoulder bag), Hobo (medium and small), and Tote (in two rectangular versions).
Furla Diva is made of goatskin, a rich and grainy natural leather. The Light is the bag’s other key aspect: not only is it reflected by the material from which it is made, but also by the metallic elements that distinguish it, like the leather shoulder strap with chain and the new pyramidal closure—an iconic element, simple, and visually striking.
The range is light and roomy, perfect for any occasion. The shoulder bag features a sophisticated, elegant, and modern color palette: a combination of color-block lino beige, pervinca, and onyx.
Tod’s is located at Greenbelt 4, Rustan’s Makati Iconic, and Shangri-La Plaza. Furla is at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central, Greenbelt 5, Newport Mall, Rustan’s Makati, and Shangri-La Plaza.
