Global brand Bata is walking tall with the recent the integration of Insolia Heels into Bata footwear.
It is no secret that high heels can boost a woman’s confidence, which comes not only from how she looks, but also how she feels about herself. But then again, comfort is key to women who have to navigate through work, weekends, and special occasions.
“How many women would love to pick out their favorite high heels come Monday morning instead of the usual ballerinas or sneakers,” says Diana Li, Bata brand manager and Insolia project manager.
With this in mind, Thomas A. Bata identified the need to improve Bata’s high-heel value proposition. And with the support of the Bata innovation lab, the team then identified the best available technology to boost the comfort of high-heeled shoes: Insolia. This weight –shift patented technology manages to distribute weight equally between the toe and shoe areas.
Founded by podiatrist and biomechanics expert Dr. Howard Dananberg, HBN Shoe LLC develops and manufactures the Insolia family of products, including Insolia Heels.
But how does this work?
When integrated into women’s shoes with heels of 45mm and more, shifts weight off the forefoot to reduce pressure by 30 percent. Insolia Heels also reduces oxygen demand while walking by 25 percent and increases wear time by a factor of three.
Perfect for the woman on the go, the collection features an array of classy pumps, versatile peep-toe booties, and casual chic heels. The Insolia Heels are built into heeled footwear to improve biomechanics, comfort, gait, weight distribution, balance, posture, and stability. With its tagline, “Walk Further, Walk Taller”, Bata Insolia lets women wear heels comfortably all day long.
