Fight pollution, fight hair fall

A top concern of Filipinas today is the stress from commute where they are constantly exposed to not just the worsening traffic but the daily exposure to pollution.

We know that dust particles and air pollutants can wreak havoc in one’s health leaving you sick and tired. But did you know that pollution also suffocates hair, causes it to weaken which leads to hair fall? It’s like hair asthma.

Senior Scientist P&G Hair Care, Asia Pacific, Saint Tiu, shared some groundbreaking findings on the effects of pollution on hair. “Scientific tests have revealed that hair exposed to highly polluted environments for three days can take on so many particles that its total weight can be more than three percent of its initial total weight. Not only does this weigh down your hair, but also renders the hair up to 20 percent rougher in texture. If left untreated, this additional roughness results in hair more prone to hair fall due to breakage,” he said.

With air pollution a key problem in Southeast Asia, Pantene has an especially formulated shampoo and conditioner to help women protect their tresses from weakness that leads to hair fall.

Pantene’s Hair Fall Control Shampoo contains Pro-V formula that protects hair from root to tip, shielding it from pollution. It also contains micro-bubble technology that features ingredients that are even smaller than some of pollution’s tiny dirt and dust particles, easily reaching and removing pollution particles from the hair cuticles and pores. Its micro-Keratin Damage Blocker technology purifies hair from unwanted heavy metals that can also damage hair. Ultimately, Pantene’s Hair Fall Control Shampoo transforms weak hair into strong hair so it is resilient enough to fight hair fall caused by breakage, even when it is exposed to extreme pollution.

For best results, Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo should be followed by Pantene Hair Fall Control 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner, which repairs three-months of damage in just  three minutes and protects hair from the damaging elements of pollution. It uses anti-oxidants called Histidine, which gets inside the hair and removes heavy metals such as from pollution particles, preventing any further damage. Pantene’s Pro-Vitamin ingredient called Panthenol, penetrates to fill-in voids, further strengthening the hair. Fortified hair from the inside is therefore made.
