Their owner’s house in Manila was to be demolished. There were around six of the dogs in that place they called home for about a year.
Sam and Kulet (curly hair) and their other four siblings had nowhere to go.
Their owner did not want them to end up on the streets, thus, she asked Save Animals of Love and Light (Save ALL) to look for an adopter for Sam and Kulet who are bonded or cannot be separated.
A month passed, then another. Then the house was to be demolished in a few days.
Save ALL decided to get the two sweet, cute dogs and had them checked at the clinic. Save ALL does not bring new dogs directly to the foster home to ensure the other healthy dogs are not infected with any disease.
Sam and Kulet tested positive for Ehrlichia and were treated for a month.
Today (three years later), Sam and Kulet are “makulit,” plays around in the garden and loves to hug and kiss humans, and get hugs and kisses back.
Save ALL has been looking for an adopter for these two dogs who are healthy, spayed/neutered so they will not reproduce, and have complete vaccines.
