Animal welfare groups and animal welfare advocates have been rescuing sick or hurt stray dogs and cats on the streets, dogs from pounds, and abused or neglected pets.
They spend lots of funds to have the rescued dogs and cats treated by the vet for several injuries and illnesses such as fractured bones after being hit by a car, cancer, and severe case of mange or galis, among others.
The rescued pets are then brought to a foster home or a shelter while the group or individual rescuer looks for an adopter who will care for the rescued pet for life, not just out of a whim like their previous owners.
These rescue groups and rescuers are grateful for animal lovers who have been donating for the food and supplements of the rescued dogs and cats.
Save Animals of Love and Light (Save ALL) is one of the groups who rescue helpless, sick and abandoned or neglected dogs and cats.
Below are three puppies who are up for adoption. They are siblings, both 7.5 months old, with complete vaccines and have been spayed/neutered so that they will not reproduce.
They are cute, playful, loving puppies who are big for their age because their mother, Bela, is also a big dog.
Bela was pregnant with Ace (bigger white pup with black spots), Dathir (brown) and Feronia (smaller white pup with black eye patch) when she was rescued from a pound before she can be transferred to the pound where dogs are killed.
She gave birth in the clinic.

Adoption fee is P1,000.00 which covers the cost of the pabaon for the pup that includes a 2-kilo bag of dog food and a bottle of multivitamins which the dogs have been used to. Save ALL advises adopters to introduce a new brand of dog food and vitamins slowly so as not to compromise the immune system of the dog.
