A pregnant lady’s experience drinking coffee

Pregnant women are often told to drastically cut down on their coffee intake, while some are advised against drinking it altogether.

Jessica Tan Gan likes to indulge in a cup of joe and she was able to regularly enjoy it even during her pregnancy.

She gave birth last May and her pregnancy certainly didn’t hinder her from enjoying Kaffea, which is safe for pregnant women. It is vegan, gluten-free, chemical-free, paraben-free, silicon-free, and halal certified.

“Pregnant women can have a cup of coffee a day. I don’t normally drink coffee habitually but I do drink Kaffea every other day or when I feel like it,” shared Jessica.

She first got a taste of Kaffea at a friend’s house a few months ago. “This is so yummy!” were Jessica’s only words after her first taste of Kaffea. “I treat it like a dessert or treat when I’m looking for something sweet.”

Kaffea packs the aroma of brewed coffee especially when hot water is poured into a cup of the blend. The smell stays with you as you put the cup to your lips and experience the bittersweet coffee mixed with coconut sugar and creamer.

It is so tasty that Jessica even made a delicious drink based on this homegrown coffee blend brand.

“I’ve created a recipe called the Almond Milk Kaffea Latte. Recipe is on my website www.jestangan.com. It just came organically. I wanted to make my own homemade almond milk. Then I decided to add healthy fats like Laurin CocoMCT and Flax Oil for added nutrition and to keep me full longer,” related Jessica.

“Then when I started drinking Kaffea and the summer heat started to turn on, I experimented and added a sachet or two to taste. That’s how I created my Almond Milk Kaffea Latte—it’s the perfectly delicious, creamy, healthy, and filling breakfast drink.”

And like all Kaffea drinkers Jessica likes it not just because of its taste but for its health benefits as well.

Local coffee blend label Kaffea is infused with agaricus mushroom that helps boost the immune system.

“I like Kaffea because it uses low glycemic coco sugar and healthy ingredients. I hope the collagen CoQ10, grape seed oil, and glutathione help my skin stay elastic and avoid stretch marks during my pregnancy,” said Jessica.

In addition, Kaffea is infused with agaricus mushroom which boosts the immune system, prevents heart diseases, strengthens weakened bones, and alleviates chronic and acute allergies.

The ganoderma in Kaffea has anti-cancer properties, balances the good and bad cholesterol, and helps prevent bronchitis and asthma as well as urinary tract infections.

Kaffea is available nationwide at SM Kultura, Rustan’s Supermarkets, Marketplace, Shopwise, Wellcome, SM Supermarket Market Street, CityMall GoLokal stores, and online at lazada.com.ph and  beautymnl.com. Call (02) 477-9920 for inquiries and orders.
