Designer lighting fixtures to go on Sale at Steltz The Gallery this June

Home or commercial lighting serves as art or a centerpiece that illuminates any space with elegance and adds character to the interior. Some interior designers say that more than its functionality, lighting fixtures is almost like jewelry, it adds flair and jazzes up any simple or intricate interior.

This June, Steltz International Inc. (Steltz), the company that has been providing renowned European designer lighting fixtures all over the world for 26 years, is giving consumers a reason to update or upgrade their home with its iconic lighting offering. Starting June 1, selected pieces from designer brands Jasper Morrisson, Michael Anastassiades and Konstantin Grcic will be offered at half the price.

Pieces from Cyprus-born designer Anastassiades will be one of the highlights during the sale. Known for his use of geometric shapes, tubes, oblongs and spheres in shiny surfaces, select items from Anastassiades’ collection is something to watch out for. His design luminaire Captain Flint, a dual-purpose free-standing lighting fixture best used as a reading light or ambient uplighting, will be part of the sale items. Other pieces will include Extra, a glowing sphere with a rectangular plane that may serve as a bedside lamp table or corner lighting in the living room; and Copycat, hand-blown glass opal diffuser with a metal sphere.

British designer Jasper Morisson’s award-winning Superloon floor lamp in various finishes is also part of the select sale items. This floor lamp reminiscent of the moon’s glow rotates 360 degrees around its own axis and features adjustable light intensity and color temperature, guided by an optical sensor on the tripod.

Other iconic timeless pieces on sale include Taccia and Taccia small lamp from Italian brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The Taccia lamp was originally designed from plastic in 1958 and Italian lighting brand Flos produced a version in 1962 with its famous blown glass bowl. This world-renowned piece is also available in a “mini” form with new colors, glass diffuser and LED option.

Make sure not to miss out on OK lamp by Konstantin Grcic; it’s a flat LED disc-shaped lamp that rotates 360 degrees and slides up and down from a steel cable. Another eye-catching piece that is a sure conversation starter is the indoor and outdoor LED floor lamp called Ipnos by Nicoletta Rossi and Guido Bianchi. This lantern-inspired lighting fixture is composed of an ultra-light skeleton of thin extruded aluminium that emanates a diffused light that is almost invisible in the design.
