American restaurant chain TGI Fridays in March brings to the Philippines dishes that smack of flavors from Southern America.
The all-new Southern Showdown features tasty and meaty treats such as the Southern Platter composed of Cajun chicken, country ribs, grilled Andouille, and indulgent serving of sides of mac and cheese, mango chipotle coleslaw, smashed potatoes, garlic rice, and buttered baguette.
Barbecue lovers have a new option straight from the grill. The BBQ Pork Shank is a fall-of-the-bone meat treat with Texan barbecue sauce, mac and cheese, and mango chipotle coleslaw.
Those who ‘sea’ food with hungry eyes, on the other hand, may opt for the Nola Steamed Mussels which is perfect with a glass of white wine or fresh hand pressed juice. TGI Fridays’ Steamed Mussels are made even better with Andouille, tomatoes, Cajun, and buttered baguette.
Continue the Southern journey with a serving of Roasted Cod with cannellini, edamame, sausage, and panko crust.
Finish off the gustatory trip to Southern America with S’mores Brownie, made of Kahlua cream sauce, torched marshmallows, fudge brownie, and chocolate ganache. Wash it all down with a serving of Sarsaparilla Float.
These new dishes are available at TGI Fridays nationwide.
