From today until May 19, TWG Tea serves an exclusive Mother’s Day set menu that consists of aperitif, starter, main course, tea, and dessert.
Start the celebration with a perfectly concocted cocktail of Moroccan Mint Tea, Gnawa Tea, yuzu juice, rum, and fresh mint.
Designed to enhance the essence of warmth that signifies the occasion, start the meal with lightly pickled sliced beets with a blue cheese mousse infused with Napoleon Tea, topped with tomato confit, fresh radish, tomato emulsion, smoked cucumbers, and ciabatta crumbs.
Main course is a deliciously poached sea bass served on romaine lettuce in a kombu broth, accompanied by summer vegetables and basil pesto with Matcha oil. Brimming with bold flavors, pair this course with a warm cup of Jasmine Queen Tea, a delicately fashioned green tea with jasmine flowers.
Put a sweet end to this exquisite meal with strawberry mousse dome with dark chocolate and honeycomb bits, crowned with a Love Me Tea infused Chantilly cream.
TWG Tea’s Mother’s Day set menu is priced at P1,550, and is available at TWG Tea Salon & Boutique at Greenbelt 5, Shangri-La Plaza, and Central Square.
Ladies who brunch
Start her special day on May 13 with a mouthwatering brunch buffet at Alfred.
The 24/7 restaurant at Makati Diamond Residences serves a wide variety of dishes including salmon tartare eggplant crisps, chicken barbeque on bird’s nest kataifi, slow cooked US beef belly, cochinillo with pinakbet rice, spaghetti al burro, Mediterranean crusted baked salmon, and grilled prawns.
Remind mom to save room for indulgent desserts such as raspberry cream mille-feuille, honey and super moist chocolate ice cream, and fresh fruits. Standard beverages such as soda, chilled juices, coffee, and tea are included.
