Fasting for lent does not mean depriving yourself of delicious, palate-pleasing food. Here are meatless dishes you can indulge in during the Lenten season.

Indulge in a guilt-free and meat-free platter of King Sisig Sizzling Bangus Sisig`

Sizzling bangus sisig

In observance of Lent, King Sisig comes up with a “fish-tacular” sizzling sisig made of flaked milkfish, chopped onions, and red chili marinated in fresh calamansi juice and vinegar. Served crispy fried and topped with crispy bangus skin, each mouth-watering platter of Sizzling Bangus Sisig is drizzled with King Sisig’s special sisig sauce for that extra kick. Diners can also customize their meal with King Sisig’s “5 Anghang Levels” options.

Each Sizzling Bangus Sisig meal is served with sunny side-up egg, unlimited rice, and a serving of Soup of the Day. It can be upgraded to include drinks and a side dish of Veggie Sisig Lumpia.

Get you sisig fix sans the guilt at any of the 22 King Sisig outlets nationwide.

Seafood rolls

Looking for guilt-free snack? Costa Coffee rolls out its savory Gourmet Seafood Rolls, inspired by the beloved Filipino pandesal.

Take a bite of the Spiced Tuna Roll to savor seared slices of fresh tuna spiced with pepper, complimented with mango and tomato salsa, and topped with crispy onion rings. Or go for the Hawaiian Shrimp Roll, a combination of crispy and juicy shrimp patties, caramelized onions and sweet pineapple for that refreshing finish.

Both gourmet sandwiches are best when paired with the new Flat Black, the Americano version of Costa Coffee’s signature Flat White.

Max’s Pinoy Ensalada

For light but tasty treats, Max’s Restaurant offers its new Spicy Ginataang Kangkong, made of fresh kangkong stalks cooked with tinapa flakes and chilies in rich coconut cream; and Pinoy Ensalada, a salad made with steamed vegetables served with shrimp paste and tomato salsa.

Fish fillet

Pancake House serves up a sumptuous seafood classic, perfect for when you’re craving for something filling and familiar. The Pan Seared Fish Fillet is served with a tangy tomato salsa, brown pilaf rice, and a tasty side salad.
