BPO hub and commercial center Eton Centris in Quezon City takes its holiday offerings up a notch this year in a bid to become a new place where family and friends celebrate the merry season.
One of the newest attractions in the complex this December is the Illumination Festival Manila organized by Kirin Creative Entertainment. It features Luminarie Light Structures, shows by international performers, and a state-of-the-art VR experience that is a must-see for families and friends.
The public can experience walking with dinosaurs, flying on a glider, or even walking on top of buildings using the event’s advanced virtual reality technology. There's also a Gini Casting portable professional studio used in K-pop auditions—a sure hit for K-pop fans. Rare K-pop merchandise are also available for purchase.
Music lovers are treated to awe-inspiring musical performances by Manila Concert Choir, Himig Scientia, CEU Singers, Novo Concertante, UP Manila Chorale, Banda Zamora, and UST Singers during Christmas Musical Nights on all Fridays and Saturdays of December. These evening concerts take place at the Centris Walk Open Grounds at 8:00 p.m.
Shoppers can finish their holiday shopping at the Eton Centris Christmas Gift Shop Bazaar, open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. this December. The bazaar complements the neighborhood favorite SIDCOR Sunday Market where unique finds abound—from food, clothes, accessories, home décor, dry goods to wet market items, plants, and even pets. SIDCOR happens every Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Further, Santa Claus will be available for a meet and greet every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On top of this lineup of attractions and activities is a spectacle of lights at the weekly Grand Fireworks Display running every 9:00 p.m. on all Saturdays of December.
The holiday festivities at Eton Centris was kicked-off by a Christmas tree lighting ceremony held on Nov. 14. The 50-foot giant tree is adorned with over 2,000 pieces of décor in red, orange, green, cyan, and magenta ornaments that represent the new and revitalized Eton Centris.
“More than a BPO hub and commercial center, we want our Eton Centris to become the place where people go to in order to enjoy the things that make them happy, activities that they love, and their passions and interests,” said Eton Centris assistant vice president Marjorie Abot.
She added, “From good food and events to music and the arts, we want Eton Centris to be known as the soulful side of Quezon City.”
