This corner will feature pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

GORI (short for gorilla) is the peacemaker in the family of Joy Gallarpe. Given to Joy by her mother's friend, sweet Gori doesn't like fights among the dogs in the household. "Referee sya ng mga ibang dogs ko," Joy says. Gori also became a mom to Joy's rescued kitten. She breastfed the kitty for a year. "She's like a human to me," Joy adds, "Magaling umintindi. Pag may kasalanan, nakayuko at iha-hug ka."
LOUIE, a toy poodle, grew twice the size of his parents and siblings, thus adopter Lalay Tan-De Guzman calls him "giant toy poodle". Says Lalay, "I love him so much because he cheers me up and calms me down as needed. I want to be as devoted to him as he is to me."
SPARKY, 2, is Ira Joven's "youngest son." Ira shares: "He brings so much joy in our home. He's very loving and protective. We love him so much!"
