A vision of skin perfection

Smooth, firm, hydrated, even-toned and disease-free is the goal of every person. But in this day and age where everyone plays many roles in life, that seems impossible. It is this vision of skin perfection that ZO Skin Health and ZO Medical systems—the two new skin health restoration systems created by world-renowned skin health guru, Dr Zein Obagi —wish to achieve.
A celebratory toast for the world-renowned skin health expert Dr. Zein Obagi (fourth from left) was led by the ZO brand ambassadors (from left) Belo Essentials managing director and Sexy Solutions owner Cristalle Belo Henares, Philippine national Red Cross national governor Joanne Zapanta-Andrada, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla and ZO Skin Health Philippines operations manager and Hayden Fragrances owner Hayden Kho
ZO products are products backed by innovatory and uncompromising research, founded on Dr. Obagi’s skin health philosophies. ZO identified new bio-engineered complexes and utilized stem cell components with antioxidants to create unique formulations in multi-therapy delivery systems that have not been available until now. ZO products are not to be mistaken for Obagi medical products, which were created by Dr. Obagi several years ago. Dr. Obagi was first to introduce the concept of “skin health” which simply means that it is not enough to treat skin problems as they come. To give the skin an (intrinsic) ability to resist damages and correct problems on its own is much more effective to ensure health. While the idea may have sounded too hopeful Dr Obagi refused to abandon the challenge. In 1987, he launched a skin care product line now known to many as the Obagi Nu-derm system which became very popular because of its effectiveness in restoring healthy skin. After a few years, Dr. Obagi sold his company to Worldwide Products, Inc., and was renamed Obagi Medical Products.

Over 30 products have been released under the ZO line with each one categorized into the maintenance line called ZO Skin Health System and the corrective and repair line called the ZO Medical System. Last month, Obagi returned to Manila to reinforce his new thinking and philosophies on the management of skin health by holding a skin health symposium with hundreds of Filipino dermatologists using ZO for their patients. The visit was capped with a grand banquet at the Raffles Hotel Makati, the highlight of which was the parade of the four renowned personalities chosen to represent ZO for what it stands for: ZO is extraordinary. ZO fights imperfections hard. ZO is the right choice and is the perfect solution for skin perfection. The four personalities include Cristalle Belo-Henares, the moving woman behind Belo Essentials and Sexy Solutions Inc. Cristalle is free-spirited, versatile, fun-loving and very passionate. She is a person who inspires everyone. Hayden Kho, Jr. heads ZO Skin Health Philippines and runs his own fragrance business called “Hayden Fragrances”. He has been using ZO and his smooth, rosy skin is proof ZO fights skin imperfections hard.
