Cebu City—EducationUSA, the government’s official resource for students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the United States, will host its second annual education fair in Cebu on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Radisson Blu Hotel here.

The EducationUSA Fair will feature more than 30 US colleges and universities. It provides an opportunity for students, parents, and school administrators to interact with admissions officers from a wide variety of US colleges and universities to learn about unique programs and opportunities.

Participants can also learn about the US college application processes, scholarship and financial aid options, and steps to apply for a student visa. This event is free and open to the public.

EducationUSA provides free advising services to prospective international students in more than 170 countries and offers students resources and tools to help navigate the five steps to US study: researching schools, financing, completing the application, obtaining a student visa, and preparing for departure.

There are more than 4,500 accredited higher education institutions in the United States, and an EducationUSA adviser can help students narrow their options, define their priorities, and plan their college careers. EducationUSA does not offer scholarships but can assist students in identifying scholarship and financial assistance opportunities.
