The City Government of Malabon recently held its 4th Malabon City Business Forum at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.

More than 300 businessmen, investors, and guests graced the event that highlighted the victories and vision of the local government this year.

In his message, Mayor Lenlen Oreta reported that the city implemented various policies and programs to promote business competitiveness and ensure the continuous economic development of Malabon.

“I can assure you that each centavo we spend will go to projects that will help each Malabonian family,” said Oreta, a known health and nutrition advocate.

The mayor thanked the business sector for their support to the programs of the local government and called for a “beautiful beginning of a long-lasting partnership.”

Oreta also tackled the successes of the city government on education, tourism and public-private partnerships.

Meanwhile, five companies were given recognition by the City Government of Malabon in the Gawad Galing Malabonian Awards. 

Remilly’s Yema Cake was awarded the Tagumpay ng Malabonian Award, MC Master Siomai Hut, Inc. the Asensong Malabonian Award, and the Malabon Soap & Industrial Company, Inc. the Tatak Malabonian Award. Moreover, Manila Plastic Products was given the Pamilyang Malabonian Award while Manly Plastics, Inc. received the Lingkod Malabonian Award. 

Malabon City Representative Jaye Lacson-Noel, Councilor Enzo Oreta and City councilors, barangay captains and department heads were also in attendance.
