Man chops up wife’s body, nabbed in QC

AUTHORITIES arrested a 43-year-old man for killing and chopping up the body of his 46-year-old wife in Quezon City on Sunday afternoon for still no apparent reason.

Supt. Rodelio Marcelo of the Quezon City Police District ‘s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit identified the victim as Heide Estrera of Block 4, Lot 7, St. Michael Extension, Republic Avenue in Barangay Holy Spirit.

Orlando Estrera, the victim’s husband, was nabbed while trying to move her mutilated body parts.

A barangay watchman sought police assistance that led to the arrest of the suspect.

Reports showed the suspect chopped the victim’s uterus to look for a fetus. The couple were childless.

According to Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, they will recommend the suspect go through psychiatric evaluation.
