Los Baños, Laguna—HealthServ Los Banos Medical Center recently celebrated its 17th anniversary with the theme: T.E.A.M HealthServ @17: Bigger. Brighter. Better.

The word T.E.A.M stands for “Together Everyone Achieves More” and emphasizes the organization’s belief that its employees, doctors and other team members, led by a proactive and dynamic management, play an important role toward the attainment of its goals and aspirations, the company said in a statement.

Its two-day celebration on June 20 and 21 included activities such as screening of HealthServ Healing Stories, mascot and jingle launch, Thanksgiving Mass, and blessing of its new facilities and services.

HealthServ has a new Hospital Annex Building, housing the new Operating Room, Laboratory Department, Laboratory Extraction Area, Billing-Cashier Section, and Inpatient Pharmacy. It also built a connecting bridge from the Medical Arts Building to the Hospital Annex and the MedExpress Pharmacy.

“We will also be introducing the new HealthServ consultants and give out 15, 10, and 5-year loyalty awards. There will also be a bazaar and bloodletting,” said Dr. Rhodora D. Ocampo, Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer.

“I am very elated for our 17th anniversary. We are celebrating it in many ways this year with the involvement of our stakeholders: patient stories feature in our videos, employees ‘participation showing off their talents as well as business skills, honoring our doctors and of course the blessing of our annex,” Ocampo said.

“Indeed, we have come a long way from our clinic in 2002. We promise to continue improve, innovate and become better so that we may contribute in a most meaningful way towards a brighter and healthier community,” the COO added.

Indeed, HealthServ is bigger, noted its president, Jose Ronaldo Delos Santos. Since June 12, 2012, HealthServ “has significantly grown from a multi-specialty and diagnostic clinic into the Level 2 Hospital that it is now, with a 92-bed capacity with state-of-the-art facilities and specialty services,” he said.

“HealthServ is brighter, powered by a dynamic and robust organization. It will continuously provide exceptional healthcare service. HealthServ is better. Committed to excellence, HealthServ will keep improving its facilities and services to render efficient, cost-effective and safe patient care,” Delos Santos said.
