BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Members and officers of the Kapisanan ng mga may Kapansanan sa Nueva Vizcaya Inc. recently opened their new Bakery sa Park project at the provincial capitol grounds here.

The project was funded with P700,000 from the Department of Labor and Employment to improve the income of KKNVI members, who are mostly persons with disabilities.

Liberato Estilong, KKNVI president, said the project will provide more assistance to their members in terms of employment and wages for their families.

The Bakery sa Park is one of the livelihood projects of the KKNVI in partnership with the provincial government and DoLE.

“This is just a small bakery, but I believe that this could be developed and can become a medium-scale enterprise if you work together and manage your livelihood well,” Gov. Carlos Padilla said during the recent project inauguration.
