FCF workers’ skills upgraded

QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya—At least 101 workers of FCF Minerals Corp. in barangay Runruno here  were recently trained and assessed by the officials of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and the firm’s Human Resources Department.

Peter Storey, Runruno operations manager, said the training and assessments focused on the workers’s skills achievement of Tesda’s National Certification II, particularly on Housekeeping Management, Heavy Equipment-Hydraulic Excavation and Heavy Equipment Wheel Loader operations, Cookery and  Scaffolding and Erection.

He said the program seeks to upgrade the organizational skills capability of the company’s workers.

“With this training and assessment, our workers can function more effectively and their present position by exposing them to the latest concepts, information and techniques including the development  of their skills needed in their respective fields,” Storey said.
