Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines recently signed a memorandum of agreement to supply the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) with premium house painting solutions. This is in support of the SHDA’S goal to satisfy the housing demand of the Philippines using more innovative technology and materials. This goal is aligned with a movement that the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Councils launched last year, “Towards BALAI 2028”,  to address the Philippines’ housing backlog, and provide  affordable shelters for Filipinos. “When Nippon Paint presented to us their architectural decorative series of products, we saw the value of the material and the product Nippon was offering to us,”   said SHDA president  Christopher G. Narciso. Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines general manager Michael S. Francisco also acknowledged the significance of the agreement during this time of the country’s high housing demand. He pledged his company’s full support. At the MOA signing were (from left) SHDA president  Narciso and chairman of the Board Willie J.Uy,  together with NPP president Mark Owen Webb, Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines Inc. Group CEO Wee Siew Kim, and general manager Francisco signing the memorandum of agreement for the new partnership.
