Kohler recently launched its first KOHLER Bold Design Awards (KBDA) in the Philippines, honoring the region’s most outstanding projects in the design industry. The design competition, open to hotel operators, hospital and residential development property professionals, architects, and designers from the local market, showcases the best talents in the field of innovation and design. “The Philippines is one of our fast-growing markets in the region, so holding the awards here was an easy decision,” said Angel Yang, president of Kohler Kitchen and Bath Asia Pacific. Starting with the Philippines this 2017, the KBDA is set to rotate in the different countries in Asia Pacific every year. Interested participants may submit their entries at the Kohler Bold Design Awards website: https://kbda-ap.com/ until November 19. The winners will be announced at the gala award ceremony in January 2018. At the launch were Kohler executives’ Jonathan Kwong , Adam Quek and Annie Sim; together with its media partners, Philip Annetta of Design Anthology and Monica Herrera of ABS-CBN Publishing; as well as KBDA judges Carmelo Casas , Budji Layug , and Royal Pineda.
